An ambitious, hands-on Sous Chef is sought for a recently opened independent Pub/Restaurant in Rugby. Due to the success of their first property the owners decided to launch a second site, which is already doing exceedingly well. They both have industry related backgrounds and are very knowledgeable and will offer the brigade full support and great communication moving forward.
- The restaurant offers Hearty traditional English dishes and Light Bites which consist of all fresh produce where possible. If you have your own ideas, you would like to bring to the table then this can also be discussed with your Head Chef.
- On the weekend you can expect to cater for up to 100 covers and during the week around 50.
- The restaurant has already gained an excellent reputation and is looking to take the food offering to the next level.
- If you come from a busy fresh food background, and posses a real drive to succeed and grow then this could be the kitchen for you!
The owners are looking to expand on the team and bring in a whole new brigade which will be selected by the Head Chef and the Sous Chef.
You will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef with the delivery of all kitchen operations including, the overseeing of all food ordering, food prep, stock control, adhering with health and hygiene regulations whilst dedicating time to develop your team.
